Order Terms & Conditions
Clear policies for bulk material orders, container shipping, and large-scale project supply.
Hawaii Materials Co. supplies construction materials through a container-based logistics model designed for commercial and large-scale projects across Hawaii and the Pacific. The following terms outline order requirements, payment structure, logistics responsibilities, and delivery expectations.
Order Requirements
All orders must meet full container minimums. We do not offer small retail or partial shipments. Orders are structured to maximize shipping efficiency and cost control.
Payment Terms
70% deposit required to begin production and material allocation- 30% balance due prior to shipment release- Payments accepted via wire transfer or ACH only- Credit cards are not accepted for bulk orders
Production & Lead Times
Typical lead times range from 60–120 days depending on material type, production schedules, and shipping conditions. Estimated timelines are provided at the time of quoting but are not guaranteed.
Shipping & Logistics
We coordinate international shipping and container logistics on behalf of our clients. Delivery timelines may be affected by port congestion, customs clearance, weather, or local transportation conditions outside of our control. Hawaii Materials Co. is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, port operations, customs processing, or external factors.
Claims & Damages
All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery- Damage or shortages must be documented with photos- Claims must be noted on delivery paperwork at time of receipt
Returns & Cancellations
All orders are final. Due to the custom, bulk nature of materials, we do not accept returns or cancellations once production has begun.
Container Responsibility
Customers are responsible for timely unloading and return of shipping containers where applicable. Any demurrage, detention, or container return penalties are the responsibility of the customer.
Project-Based Supply
Our services are designed for commercial projects, developments, resorts, and infrastructure builds. We are not structured for small individual or retail orders.
Pricing Disclaimer
All pricing is subject to change based on raw material costs, freight rates, and currency fluctuations until formally accepted and confirmed in writing.
These terms apply to all quotations, invoices, and material supply agreements issued by Hawaii Materials Co.
